Most of the day was walking thru old burn areas. Burns allow views we wouldn’t get in a mature forest.

We had lots of windfall trees to hop over, under and go around. It definitely challenged my agility and flexibility.

These saw cut logs were the start of much easier walking. Thanks to the volunteer trail crews.

It was HOT. I used my umbrella. We finally made it to Coleman where we checked into the Paddock Inn. It’s nice. They did our laundry while I had a beer.
