Creekside camping on Lynx Creek
After just a few miles we got to the Castle Mountain Ski Resort. We took a 3 hour break for breakfast, tent + sleeping bag drying, resupply organization and electronic charging. The pub/restaurant is open 3 days a week and luckily today it’s Sunday when it is open the earliest at 9am.
The rest of the day was mostly on ATV tracks with a little paved and gravel roads. Not anyone’s favorite. But there was hardly any traffic and the weather was perfect. A bit hot but I’m not complaining. It’s way better than rain. Plus there were lots of wildflowers.
It wasn’t all ATV tracks.
We met our first other GDT hiker today. Bruno from Toulouse, France. This year’s start location has made people get creative with how and where they get on the trail. He did a lot of road walking to get on the trail just past the ski resort.
Hi. I see that you don’t update your site too often. I know that writing
articles is time consuming and boring. But did you know that there is a tool that allows you to create new posts using existing content (from article
directories or other blogs from your niche)? And it does it
very well. The new posts are high quality and pass
the copyscape test. You should try miftolo’s tools
I’m really digging on all photos of flowers. Keep em’ comin’!
