Day 113. Zero in Te Anau. February 23, 2016.
The room I slept in last night was too hot and stuffy.
It was a nice zero. I walked around town, resupplied and ate. I also moved to another place to stay. Some other hikers told me about this place. It’s a 20 minute walk from town. But it’s quiet. I have my own room. There is unlimited free fast wifi. Paul cooked me venison for dinner. Dinner isn’t usually part of the deal but I’m not complaining.

Today is Tuesday. Tomorrow will have some rain. Thursday will have heavy rain. Do I leave town and walk in that or wait it out? Right now I think I will walk tomorrow. I don’t want to be a wimp.
Yes I was thinking you were a wimp Nancy!?
Not long until you have views of the Southern Ocean. Enjoy the bog and the ancient rain forest! You’ve done fabulous so far.
