on the way back to the trail we stopped to say goodbye to the Dinsmores. 

Dave hiked in with us (for almost 10 miles) and then turned around to go home..

I’m full of anticipation for this section. I remember it as being gorgeous.  But in 2009 it rained for one critical day in the Glacier Peak Wilderness.  I want to see what I missed.

Hot dinner for the second time on this hike. Yum!  I still wouldn’t carry a stove…. but Atlas is carrying it!

I’m camped up on a grassy knoll with Atlas and Kimchi. I’m sure we will get condensation but it’s the only place we could find. The setting sun is a huge red fire ball.
