My plan for today was to walk 25 miles to get to Flagstaff. But then I got an offer I couldn’t refuse….
Tree Hugger picked me up in 8.4 miles where the trail is closest to their house. Then Tree, Blisterfree and I went to the Bernie for Hillary rally at ASU. And then I was the first guest at Sage the Wonder Dog’s Hiker Hostel. Translation: Sage is Tree’s awesome dog. I had met Tree once at an ALDHA West Ruck. That is how the thru hiker world works. It is amazing and awesome.
