5:08am and I woke up to this….

Since there was no wind I decided to try to walk to the reflection pond 2.5 miles away.  As I walked the mountain turned pink. But the clouds were getting closer….

5 minutes later I got to the pond.  The clouds won.  Still a special morning.

Later I went back to the visitor center and walked down to the river.  I found out later that these flowers have just bloomed and that they are relatively new to the park.
