The walk to the bakery is along Lake Chelan.
After 50 hours of being in paradise we pulled ourselves away and left Stehekin on the 11am bus. Of course we made one last stop at the bakery. I am pretty sure I tried at least one of every item they bake.
Bambi was waiting for the next bus into Stehekin. I haven’t seen him since Sierra City.
We walked by more old growth cedars and I just had to hug one.
Fall is in the air….

I definitely remember that big old cedar. And the bakery. Closed but a gazebo full.
Gazebo was great. An open bakery for 7 hours was heaven. You should go back.
