I took the Tunnel Falls alternate which most hikers take because it’s beautiful and you get to walk behind the falls.

Walking south!

We were heros with some Ukraines….

We arrived in Cascade Locks which is just half a bridge from Washington. 

I stopped at Trail Angel Shrek ‘ s Swamp. He gave us bandanas.

Went to Thunder Island Brewery. Shrek gave me a coupon for my first pint. An anonymous donor bought 4 of us a second beer. We were there for sunset.

I am now camped at the campground in town. Free for hikers. $2 showers. I’m not spending much money in this town!
