Day 20. Nero at Tuolumne Meadows. July 1p, 2016.
6am to 8am. 4 miles. Rafferty Creek to Tuolumne Lodge.
Tuolumne Meadows was almost like a town day. Food we didn’t have to carry. Showers. Laundry (handwashed). Rest. But no bed (we camped at the walk in campsite with 50+ others) and no Internet to distract us.
Rockin and I ate breakfast and dinner at the Tuolumne Meadows Lodge. Seating is family style and the interaction with the other guests was lots of fun.
Lovely photo. I dig on Tuolumne Meadows. Sounds like a grand social time was had. A bit of trail magic in a way.
I think we were ready to talk to different people.
Didn’t Wired eat?
She ate at the cafe by the store. That way she had more time to watch all her shows!
Hello Nancy, I am catching up with your blog, which a FB friend has just posted. It’s very nice: a lot of pictures, and not too much to read (I am sitting at the office), but still enough to have a pretty good idea of how it has been for you guys. Thanks for sharing, and hello from Norway 🙂
Norway is on my list…. someday!
