Atlas and I finally left White Pass at 1pm. But of course we first ate lots of bacon, eggs and cheese.

Why it took so long to leave.

Of course it started raining just when we started looking for a campsite. It took several miles to find one so packs and rain clothes got wet. But starting tomorrow it’s supposed to be nice weather….. at least for several days.

We saw 2 elk… momma and baby. We were on a ridge way above them and they still heard us.
