Day 84 – Belden

Last night Nancy said coffee would be ready at 6. When I woke up at 5, it was wonderful to roll over and go back to sleep for an hour. When I woke up again I could smell coffee and bacon….. 2 of the best smells in the world.
After breakfast of french toast, bacon, scrambled eggs and fruit we said our goodbyes and Terry drove us back up to the trail.
We soon met up with Rewind who I had last seen in Kennedy Meadows North. Catching up with her occupied us for quite a few miles.

Later in the day we found Tarzan and Emma sprawled out on a rock like lizards.
After descending over 5000 ft to the north fork of the Feather River and the town of Belden we went to the bar/restaurant and found Dirtmonger, Bearclaw and SixPack.
We are now at another trail angel’s house…. the Braatens. The good life continues….

heard that Poco Loco has a bad sprain. Is going to rest until Saturday and then get back on the trail. Seems like you may meet up again if that is the case?
