Dodged the dreaded poodle dog bush with some road walking detours.

It’s sad to see how much burned in the August 2009 Station Fire.

Memorial to 2 firefighters who died in the station fire.

Unfortunately Poodle Dog Bush is everywhere. The first part of the day the trail had been mostly cleared of the nasty stuff. Thanks to whomever did that. We walked thru a burned prison. Eerie place.

Now we are camped in a clearing next to a closed road.
