Zero Day
27.5 miles skip fire closure
179.4 total miles
Today was the most miles on a zero day ever. The trail is closed for a segment burned last year. We could skip or walk on a a very narrow, windy road. We skipped. Makes me realize what incredible luck I have had with my previous 3 thru hikes. I’ve never had to skip or flip before.

I don’t know what I would do. I don’t think I would be happy about it but i would like the “free miles”, Maybe after the halfway point. When you don’t want the trip to end but at the same time can’t wait for it to be over.
