I am carrying a DeLorme inReach SE. With this 7 ounce device I can send and receive custom text messages, check in with preset messages, and activate SOS…. all via satellite. I have linked it to Trackleaders.com so you can view on a map where I am. Be sure to check out the cool sliding elevation chart on the bottom. Huge thanks to my friend Wired for finding this website.
The map shows 2 trails only one (HRP) of which I will be doing now. The GR5 which is the other one looks really cool and it’s on my future hike list. Trackleaders will add my other 2 hikes in the next couple of weeks.
