Clouds, thunder and a few drops of rain over Seavey Pass. But now it’s clear enough to cowboy camp.

I remember this section as being surprisingly hard. But I had forgotten how stunningly beautiful it is. There is way more snow than a month later in 2009. Snow makes mountains more picturesque.

Only 2 more days with the bear cannister.  Yay. I hate that thing. It is heavy and does not fit well in my pack.
