I have saved myself from so many falls. All thru hikers do. Not today. I tripped and was down so fast. My face hit a soft pile of dirt….. right next to a big rock. One lens on my sunglasses popped out. There was a creek a half mile later. I washed my face and shirt. Luckily, no harm done.

I saw some interesting prints today….

I found a great place to camp near the top of a ridgeline. Great view. Slight breeze. And good cell phone service. I set up my tent to get away from the flies and mosquitos. Last night I was way too hot in my bivy. I am so comfortable…. washed off and bug free. Atlas joined me later and read me PCT – L posts of stupid but funny hiker feuds.
