The first 36 miles from Snoqualmie Pass were closed in 2009. There was a trail detour that was beautiful. But the trail today was spectacular. Jagged peaks. Long traverses. Lakes. Ever changing clouds.

We stopped and talked to several section and day hikers.
K2 & Howl and Kerry & Troy.

We have an awesome view from our campsite. Mountains all around. A few steps away you can look down and see Spectacle Lake.
