Travel day.  I flew from Juneau to Anchorage.

What a setting for an airport

This is why no road to Juneau exists.

This dream van was parked at the hostel. I never found the owner.

I was told that boots were required for the volunteer trail work. So I went to REI in Anchorage and bought some.  My feet haven’t been in boots for years.  They don’t like them.  Ugh. Yes,  Kaza, I did buy Keens. (My niece works for Keen!)
